Talitha Coffee Roasters is on Fifth Avenue in Bankers Hill. It's bright, airy and modern, with lots of seating inside and out, though the indoor tables fill on busy days. It works well for remote work, and dogs are welcome. Street parking is metered and tight.

The syrups and chai are house-made. Try the gingersnap latte, rose matcha, flat white or salted caramel latte. The açaí bowl is a favorite, and there's an almond croissant. Prices are on the higher side.
