The Cracked Bean Roastery is on James Street in Syracuse's Eastwood neighborhood. It's cozy and modern, with tables, couches and outlets. The outdoor seating is dog-friendly. Weekend parking can be tight.

They roast in-house. The cold brew is the favorite. Try a vanilla latte, lavender latte or matcha. There are blueberry cream danishes, chocolate croissants and egg bites. Brazil Mogiana is a good pour-over bag. They also sell fresh duck eggs and meat sticks.
