The Kookaburra Compound

The Kookaburra Compound in St. Augustine is the original of nine Aussie coffee shops across North Florida. They roast on-site. It's calm, with lots of small tables and Australian decor, near the railroad tracks. Dogs are welcome outside and get treats. Parking can be tricky.

The flat white is the house drink. Try the Honey Badger latte with vanilla, honey and cinnamon, or a Mocha Nut iced latte. Aussie pies include the Corker and Brekkie pies, plus chicken pot pie with datil sauce. There's a crustless quiche and vegan options.
