The Lab Coffee - West Tampa

The Lab Coffee is a small-batch roaster in West Tampa. It's industrial and open, with low and high tables inside and umbrella picnic tables outside. Seats can be tight at busy times, and weekends are busy.

They roast on-site, usually Guatemala, Brazil and Ethiopia. There are two single-origin espressos served with sparkling water, plus pour-overs, cortados and a dirty chai. Bagels are house-made. The Hangover bagel sandwich (sausage, bacon, hash browns, gouda, cheddar, sriracha mayo) and the Cuban breakfast press are favorites. Bags list roast date, origin, altitude and process.
