The Red Cat Coffeehouse is in Birmingham's Pepper Place district, across from Railroad Park, run by Aileen and Mike. It has high ceilings, lots of light, communal tables, leather couches and outdoor seats. Wifi can slow down at busy times. Saturdays during the farmers market are lively.
The Bengal Latte and Chocolate Cortado are favorites. For food, try the breakfast bowl, a ham and cheese croissant, the cheese toastie with tomato basil soup or the spanakopita.
