The Roost

The Roost in downtown Wellsboro is a restaurant and bar with a coffee counter inside. Owner Sean built a lot of the lights and furniture himself, and the industrial style makes it a fun room to be in. It was recently featured on America's Best Restaurants roadshow.

The iced lattes are the coffee order people talk about. It works for a morning coffee or an afternoon pick-me-up. There's table and bar seating, and it gets busy at peak times. Sometimes there's local music in the evenings.
