The Wakeman Coffee Co. is a locally owned café and roaster in an old fire station in Sidney, in the Catskills. The bay doors open onto outdoor seating. There are couches, small tables and fast free wifi. It's open Friday through Sunday only. It's a good stop off I-88.

Lattes are the everyday order. A seasonal special with spices and orange shows up on the board, and they'll make a surprise drink if you ask. There are toasts and bagels. The everything bagel with cream cheese is a regular pick. They offer subscriptions.
