Thornton Family Coffee Roasters

Thornton Family Coffee Roasters is a family-owned roastery in Beaverton with a walk-up window behind a spa shop. You can watch the small-batch roasting through the windows of the warehouse next door, and they'll give tours if you ask. Their site says they focus on fresh wholesale coffee for the Portland area and beyond.

There's no seating, just a small standing bar by the window, and Central Beaverton is only a few blocks away if you want somewhere to sit. The Concord blend is the most popular, and there's a rotating set of single origins and blends, usually just days off the roaster.

You can buy whole beans at the window, and they do local delivery. The staff are glad to help you find a roast you'll like.
