Finding the place takes some doing. The entrance is around the back, near the soccer field, and the signage from the road is essentially nothing. Three parking spaces. If you wanted a polished cafe experience, this is not it.

The seasonal maple-cinnamon latte is the one regulars come back for. The Mexican drip is the everyday cup. Lattes built on the in-shop roasts taste like beans that traveled ten feet instead of ten thousand. Take home a bag of the whole-bean decaf if you have someone at home who can't do caffeine but wants to taste what's happening at this counter.

The customer this works for is a driver detouring from a Blue Ridge winery run who wants a real roast stop instead of another tasting-room espresso machine. Anyone hunting for signage, easy parking, or wifi-friendly tables should keep driving.
