Varraco Coffee Roasters

Varraco Coffee Roasters is in Palm Desert. Vince imports green coffee from the Philippines and roasts it in-house, and part of bag sales goes to Filipino farmers. It's modern and cozy, with tables inside and out. Indoor seats are tight and not wheelchair accessible. There's no restroom, and lines can reach the door. There's no decaf.

The Ube latte is the one to start with. Try Pandan or BananaQ coffee, or matcha. There are chicken empanadas, banana Nutella muffins, carrot cake and ube cookies. Dogs get pup cups.
