What started out as a necessary indulgence has grown into a thriving specialty coffee roastery. I had let my consulting contract expire and became a stay-at-home dad caring for our newborn, 1 and 3 year old daughters while my wife finished her residency. It was challenging to be sure; but giving up my daily coffee shop visit was more so. I had to find a solution and it came in the form of green coffee beans and a hot air popcorn popper.
