Woodcat Coffee

Woodcat Coffee is a neighborhood coffee shop and roaster in Echo Park, Los Angeles. Coffee couple Saadat and Janine Awan founded it in 2014 and built it with little money and their own hands. It is POC- and woman-owned.

In 2020 Woodcat began roasting its own coffee and opened a second shop in Silver Lake, Dinosaur Coffee. It hand-roasts small-batch coffee in Los Angeles, sells online (including 5 lb bags and subscriptions), and supplies wholesale accounts.
